Ms Granite, Deputy Headteacher, St Mary's Bryanston Square

"They learned a lot about the details, about what air pollution actually means and they learned what effects it can have on them but I think the most important thing is that they learned that they can do something about it, that it’s not just something that grown ups deal with or the government deal with.

I think it’s been absolutely fantastic. The children learned a lot and they’re actually quite excited about it, they love the film they made – I think they liked the process of making the film, it helped them with their knowledge and their confidence and again that empowerment that they can do something and because the project has continued it’s having an ongoing impact and they’re talking about it with their families and with their friends and it’s helping to spread the word so it was great, I’m really pleased that we had a chance to be involved."

Ms McTaggart, Gateway Academy

"When someone is able to go from working with a group of 9 children to accommodating your request to working with 90 eager Year 5s, you know you are signing up to a very special project. Andy had a clear vision and was able to make the project inclusive for all the children. His sessions were creative, fun and delivered with ease. For such an ambitious project, I honestly didn't expect it to run so smoothly. Andy went above and beyond to ensure that not only the children learnt new skills, but the finished product was of such a high standard. Andy was even kind enough to visit the school again to see the children watch the finished film for the first time.

Working with Andy was amazing. I highly recommend it and will be looking forward to welcoming his creative ideas into a future project at our school."
